Construction
Constructing fantastic buildings which have a positive impact on people’s lives
From new build to refurbishment, iconic to functional, we use the latest technologies and methods to construct buildings which have a positive impact on people, communities and the environment. And we build them fit for future generations, too.
This could be anything from building a school where young people thrive, a leisure centre to enhance community wellbeing, or an entertainment venue to regenerate a town centre. We’re driven to create the best buildings, every time, ensuring we can invest in our communities and leave a lasting social impact legacy.

Whether we're creating a new building or breathing life into an existing one, it takes a clear, long-sighted vision. One that’s shared by the client, the designer and the whole construction team. This vision starts with the people who will use the building and caters to their needs, even if they're complex and hard to predict. It then takes into account how the building will evolve throughout its life and the impact it will have on its environment – now and in the future.
Our clients value our transparent, solution-focused approach. It's what sets us apart from our competitors. We build strong relationships with our clients and the end users of every building we construct. It's only by gaining a deep understanding of a client's world and the market they operate in, that we can achieve the best results. That's why we have a network of offices across England, Scotland and Wales.
A multi-disciplinary team of architects, interior designers, structural engineers, building services engineers and environmental engineers. As a RIBA and ACE registered practice, they provide design support from concept to construction.
Our in-house team of building services designers, engineers and commissioning managers. They manage the design and installation of our client’s M&E services, making sure they are fully integrated within the design and construction of the building.
A large proportion of BAM’s work is delivered through leading central and local government frameworks. We manage our frameworks centrally through a dedicated team, but deliver locally, working closely with our clients, stakeholders and local communities to meet their specific needs.
From straightforward procurement to early contractor engagement, frameworks provide many opportunities for us to add real value. It enables our clients to focus on what's best for them and their stakeholders, rather than spending time and money on procurement processes.
